Expanding Registered Apprenticeship Through Alignment with CTE Brief

About

As states work to bring Registered Apprenticeship to scale, one strategy for increasing the pool of potential apprentices is aligning Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs) with Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. CTE programs share a number of features and goals with RAPs that give participants access to high-quality, occupation-directed training that combines classroom instruction with real work experience.

This resource for State Apprenticeship Expansion grantees provides information about CTE and identifies steps state apprenticeship grantees can take to build stronger alignment between RAP and secondary CTE programs.
