ASE/SAE 2020/SAEEI Business Engagement Boot Camp Webinar

The Business Engagement Boot Camp for Apprenticeship State Expansion (ASE), State Apprenticeship Expansion 2020 (SAE 2020), and State Apprenticeship Expansion, Equity and Innovation (SAEEI) Grantees kicked off with a webinar held on September 29, 2021. This webinar introduced participating intensive cohort teams to the basic framework of apprenticeship businesses engagement and provided an orientation to the boot camp structure itself.
Participants and the boot camp coaches discussed how to identify businesses with workforce challenges that apprenticeship is well suited to address, effective approaches to initial conversations, and strategies to build trust and develop customized apprenticeship solutions to meet business needs. Coaches also provided additional insight into modifying business engagement strategies during times of economic change. The information shared in this webinar laid the foundation for two intensive coaching sessions each of the 13 participating grantee teams had with their business engagement coaches.
